The Trans-Siberian Summer Journey begins amid the vast steppes of Mongolia, where endless horizons and nomadic traditions welcome travelers to a land of boundless beauty. Starting in Ulaanbaatar, the capital that bridges ancient culture and modern life, you venture into the stunning Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, surrounded by dramatic granite cliffs, wide valleys, and grazing horses under an open blue sky.

Colorful architectural church with onion domes, situated beside a canal, with a crowd of visitors and a path with railings, under a blue sky with scattered clouds.

The journey unfolds further through the rich cultural tapestry of Kazan, blending Russian and Tatar influences, and onward to majestic Moscow, where golden domes, Red Square, and vibrant city life capture the essence of modern Russia. The grand finale awaits in Saint Petersburg, the elegant “Venice of the North,” where imperial palaces, and canals provide a magical conclusion to this unforgettable cross-continental odyssey.

The Grand Palace in Екатеринбург, Russia, with a yellow and white baroque-style building, ornate water fountains with golden statues, and a bright blue sky.

From here, the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway carries you north into Russia, where the adventure deepens with a visit to the breathtaking Lake Baikal, the world’s oldest and deepest freshwater lake—its crystal waters shimmering beneath summer sunlight. Continuing east to west, you’ll wander through the wild beauty of Stolby National Park, a haven of towering stone pillars and forested trails, before reaching Yekaterinburg, the historic city marking the meeting point of Europe and Asia.
